Yes, Zenova FP fire protection paint can be applied to any substrate to provide immediate benefits. We do recommend the use of Zenova primer before applying Zenova FP fire protection paint, as it has been specifically developed for this purpose.

Application instructions are provided with Zenova FP fire protection paint and are also in Zenova’s Technical Data Sheet which can be downloaded from Zenova’s website. The instructions include the correct process for preparing surfaces, the use of Zenova primer, the recommended and optimal application thickness of Zenova FP fire protection paint, and drying times required between coats.
