The Zenova FX500 is safe for use on all fires
The FX500 is independently fire tested to BS6165 standard for A, B and F fires and safe to use on electrical equipment (dielectric test).
All of our extinguishers use our proprietary Zenova FX fluid - this fluid has been tested and certified to EN1568 and EN3-7 by MPA Dresden.
Magnesium fire demo
Class D fires involve flammable metals, such as magnesium, titanium, potassium, and lithium. Although not as common, these high temperature fires once ignited can spread rapidly.
The video demonstrates the Zenova FX500 extinguishing a magnesium fire, which is very similar to a lithium battery fire.
