Zenova Group PLC (“Zenova”, the “Company” or the “Group”), a provider of innovative fire safety and heat management technology and products, is pleased to announce that it has signed a “partners in health” contract with the Epsom & St. Hellier University Hospitals NHS Trust in Surrey, UK.
The signing of the contract and Zenova achieving NHS trusted partner status followed the evaluation of its fire safety and insulation products by the Trust’s EME Technical Support Services division. It paves the way for Zenova’s products to be used to improve fire safety and insulation throughout the Trust’s estate.
Commenting on the news, Tony Crawley, Chief Executive of Zenova Group PLC said:
“Achieving NHS trusted partner status with Epsom and St. Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust is a considerable development for Zenova.
“Zenova IR (insulating render) and IP (insulating paint) can now be used by the Trust to improve building insulation and reduce carbon emissions, whilst Zenova FP (fire-resistant paint) can be used to improve fire safety in the Trust’s hospitals and other healthcare settings for the benefit of NHS staff, patients, and their families.
“In addition, NHS trusted partner status now enables us to engage more easily with other parts of the NHS that are looking to address similar challenges. Given the scale of the NHS and its Greener NHS programme to reach net carbon zero, we believe that this represents a significant opportunity for Zenova, and further underlines that Zenova’s insulation and fire-safety products are becoming established and recognised as leaders in their respective markets.”
Darren Magee FInstLM ASEE DEngM ASME, Head of Medical Physics & Clinical Engineering, Technical Support Services, Epsom & St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust added:
“I am delighted that Zenova has become a trusted partner of the Trust. Zenova’s fire protection and thermal insulation coatings very much support the NHS Carbon Footprint Reduction Strategy, and present a real opportunity to save lives in healthcare settings by preventing the ignition and spread of fire.”

Further information on Zenova:
The Group, through Zenova Ltd, is the holder of intellectual property that underpins a suite of fire safety and temperature management products and technology. The product range is applicable to industrial, commercial, and residential markets. The Group’s products include fire retardant paints, insulating paints and render, fire extinguishing fluid and applications. Through innovative development, and a refined formulation and development process, Zenova provides industry leading solutions across a range of fire protection and temperature management problems, comprising:
Thermal insulating paint that creates a thermal barrier, provides thermal reflection of sunrays & infrared radiation, anti-condensation and anti-mould properties. It can be applied to virtually any exterior or interior material, regardless of the surface.
Thermal insulating render to enhance the effectiveness of insulation by creating a thermo shield. It fills all cavities and gaps regardless of geometric shape and creates a vacuum – the most effective insulator.
The Group has achieved this without compromising the sustainability of natural and economical resources, including personal health and safety, with ecologically sound products.
